# Desktop Setup For Fuser

#### Step 1: Initial Setup <a href="#step-1-initial-setup" id="step-1-initial-setup"></a>

1. Disconnect all displays except for the main monitor.
2. Connect the main monitor to the Fuser (not directly to the GPU).

#### Step 2: Configure Display Settings <a href="#step-2-configure-display-settings" id="step-2-configure-display-settings"></a>

*On Both PCs:*

1. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop.
2. Select Display Settings.
3. Scroll down to the Multiple displays section and select Extend these displays.

*On the 2nd PC:*

1. Go to Start > Settings > Personalization > Background/Wallpaper.
2. Under Personalize your background, select Solid Color and choose Black.

#### Step 3: Reconnect Cables to the Fuser <a href="#step-3-reconnect-cables-to-the-fuser" id="step-3-reconnect-cables-to-the-fuser"></a>

1. Ensure all three HDMI 2.0 cables are connected to the Fuser.
2. Make sure the monitor is no longer directly connected to the GPU.

#### Important Notes <a href="#important-notes" id="important-notes"></a>

* The Fuser requires 3 HDMI 2.0 cables for full functionality.\
  Ensure all HDMI slots on your PC's and monitos are 2.0
* Once set up correctly, switching modes (K1/K2/K3) will allow seamless integration between both PCs.
